You Know Im A life long Detroiter i lived in houston for about 7 years of my life,but the majority has been detroit where i was born, and everybody knows what is going on in detroit,and i have wrote about it for the past couple of years,and i must say everyday from the bankruptcy filed, to the crime,the shootings,and the police chief coming in and promising all this joe clark from lean on me type shit,but what he fails to realize,is this is not the detroit he left,and this is a whole new breed of individuals that he is dealing with,these young cats have no respect for anybody,they dont fear jail,and they dont fear a bullet,so if you dont fear those things then how the fuck you gonna clean up crime,with a city that is undermanned,and under budget,save that tough talk for tv,and im so sick of the kurupt politicians, and people running the city,if it aint the stealing of money,people trying to rig and election,only to be a mayor who basically answers to the emergency manager for now,i mean is detroit scared to have a white mayor who knows,but all i know the harder they try to keep him out the easier it is going to be for him to get in,and dont believe that shit about the governer being a republican,cause you can best believe white is white,and he would love to have a white mayor running detroit so dont be no fool, and its like everybody is trying to take advantage of detroit right now cause they know the city is in trouble so what people do they kick the city why its down,but i can tell you this it might not be in my lifetime but i truly feel that one day the city will rise and comeback to the city i once loved and can call home cause right now if it wasnt for the tigers,playing baseball i wouldnt have shit to be proud of in the city,and thats real talk cause the city is a mess its not safe,its disrespectful,and there is no unity. so all i can say is hopefully we as a city will rise as one to be a good city again sooner that later.
