you know its 2014 and im convinced that racism is going to be here now and forever,and i know martin luther king had a dream that one day we all will get along all races,but im hear to tell you that is just a dream,yeah you do have more interracial couples,and blacks getting along with whites ,but everytime we take two steps forward its always going to be reminders of the racism that still exists in this country,perfect example,the detroit lions hired there first black coach in the franchises history,now mind you im not a lions fan,but after what i heard on the espn message board,and a lot of other sports social media sites,im pulling for this man to succeed more than any coach ever,cause this man was called a coon, a nigger, a monkey all kind of foul as names,and the thing is a lot of these racist love social media cause they can hide behind a keyboard or and android and just say all kind of shit that they want cause they know they cant get caught,but to me it just lets me know that in 2014 shit is still real out here, just like richard sherman who plays for the seattle seahawks,yeah he might have went overboard in his rant after winning the superbowl but to call him a nigger,and punk,black porch monkey thats the kind of shit i dont like,and last but there are plenty is the elbrooks patterson who runs oakland county michigan, talking about detroit is a place to go get carjacked at gas stations,and take the indians put them in detroit and put a fence around them,just lets me know that racism is alive and well and if you dont believe it just get on social media and last but not least ask trayvon martins parents does racism still exist he is gone but never forgotten real talk.
