Detroit My City Under Siege"

You know i wrote about detroit in my old blog when i first started blogging,and like i said before the detroit that i grew up and loved,is not the detroit anymore,its like my generation was the last of a dying breed,its like when i came up we respected the older guys in the neighborhood, we respected the elderly,the elderly was like a preacher someone you respected even if you didnt like and older person you still respected them cause thats how we was raised,people keep trying to look for answers of why the city i love has crime thats out of hand marvin winans a pastor getting carjacked,a 84 year old security guard getting shot and killed,and 86 year old man getting carjacked,this type of shit you never used to hear about because of the upbringing in the homes,now a days not all but a lot of kids are raising themselves,you have these parents who are not raising there kids,and they letting the streets raise them,and raise them in a very bad way,this new generation has no regard for life,they quick to pull the trigger,but scared as hell to take and ass whooping,so every other night or every night in some case you hear on the news someone has been shot,or someone has been robbed,and its not about where you go or hang out cause niggas is everywhere robbing and stealing,and until we as parents get a hold of are kids before the streets do shit will never change,the economy is bad but whats worse is the neglection being done by these parents who are so quick to have these kids but dont want to take the time out to raise them from right and wrong,and so they think they can do whatever and whenever they want to do,and thats sad,so i amsaying to anyone who reads this get a handle on your kids before theyget to grown and its to late show them its a code of honor out here and they are breaking all the codes killing infants killing the elderly,just walking around with a i dont give a fuck attitude,and that is not right,and once we stop tolerating this type of behavior then we as a city can start our to rebuld and be the city i once i knew and loved hopefully its not to late.
