You know this new generation its a whole new breed,growing up these days the kids have no idea of what its like to have fun,and just enjoy there neighborhoods,and childhood,so i was thinking im about to go down memory lane, I was born and raised on the west side Detroit Michigan Tracey and Fenkell And when i was growing up we had a since of family you had the reeves family,the martins,the colemans, the brooks,the northerns the wrights, the mcnabs, and many more families that looked out for each other,and a typical day may consist of me at the age of 12 waking up on a summer day and going down to my boy dre house,and then rashard and dada would come down,and little rich,and randy the whole block and we would play baseball in the street,then after baseball we would maybe wait for the ice cream truck to come down and we would get ice cream off the dairy king truck,thenwe would maybe walk to kendricks record store on fenkell or go to northland and shop, for the latest top tens,and then after having a full day of fun,i would sit on my porch with my friends with the streetlight just coming on,and listen to the electrifying mojo,or the wizard and talk stuff, with my friends as tracy kim and vonya would be over the northerns house or the brooks,and everybody respected the hood,and we all either went to murphy,middle,or cerveny middle,or cooley high,or hell cadilac middle,or burns elementary,but everybody had respect,and stayed outside enjoying the hood,not playing video games,or killing one another and it was still a sense of innocence that kids today dont have so i just wanted to share apart of my childhood growing up cause those were truly the good old days from a tracey boy for life turned a grown man indeed.
