What Happen To The City I was Born And raised In Detroit"

You know i have written about The city i was born and raised in many times but i have not written about it since Detroit declared bankruptcy, and you know honestly if you have lived here or visited here to me its been bankrupt,and its not fair to the people who live hear,the way the city is being talked about,but its the truth,and this goes back from the riots in 67 when the whites started moving out,to the coleman young administration when white politicians didnt want to deal with him,to kwame kilpatrick,and his crooked ways,to a lot of back door underhanded bribes,and stilling from the pension funds,to now in this day and present where we have over 78000 buildings empty,to where there is so much crime because this new generation of youngsters dont have respect for the law,the elderly,or any authority,plus they know that detroits police has been operating on limited resources for years so they are not afraid to do damage,plus lets keep it real the days of niggas in the streets of detroit getting paid,and doing them big illegally you dont see to many street nigga in the dope game cause for one the streets is all dried up,its not a drought season anymore its a damn drought era period yeah you might have just few niggas still pounding the pavement making those chips,but its so few and far between its not funny,so what do you have more know,the hustlers have been replaced by the stick up kids,the home invasions, the car jackers,who are robbing the working class,and those who live in the burbs like me think they immune to this shit they sadly mistaken cause a nigga nowadays will come way out and do shit like it aint shit anymore because they just dont give a fuck and thats a and attitude that police,cant keep in check,and its sad that for the past 20 years all you have heard about is downtown coming back,midtown coming back,but what about the east side of detroit,the neighborhoods there,or the westside of detroit what about those neighborhoods,all you hear about is downtown,and that attitude has led us to today,and its sad and fucked up,cause my era we had cooley high school,redford,murry wright,mackenzie,northern,southwestern,and many more,big high schools and now there gone because the population, has dwindled,and the robing and stealing from are school funds,has taken its toll so now we have went from having over a million people living in the D, to they say 700000 but to me thats and inflated number cause i know damn well its much less,and all you hear people talking about is getting the lights on in detroit,and having better working services,and all this,and yet to me it all sounds like a broken record,and maybe detroit will one day make a comeback to the city i grew up in and loved,but right now i just dont see it until we can get some people in there who only agenda is doing there got damn jobs,and making detroit a better place to live,cause i come from fenkell and tracey,and on a friday night in the summer time i could walk fenkell to wyoming at the dusk of dark safely and not worry about a thing,now you try that and your odds are very slim that you might get robbed or have to fuck somebody up,and thats whats sad cause the kids today have no idea of what it was like just 25 years ago.And thats sad but true,and i just want the youngsters and the new generation that coming up have better detroit,at least have one like i had growing up,or better but not what it is now cause now its all fucked up,and its just a sad state of affairs for The D.
